Like you, we are true dog lovers. We have 4 of our own, plus we have been fostering for about 10 years. We are currently fostering for the Wisconsin Saint Bernard Rescue. Here is our family.
Lucy is our larger than life yellow lab. She's the queen of the house (as you can see by the way she is enjoying my coffee and Sunday paper). Like other labs, Lucy is a fireball of energy, even at 10 years old. Lucy has had a rough 2009 with some health issues. But shes doing pretty good and shes ready to play anytime, anywhere. Lucy heads up our product durability department
Chilo was our first dog. She is an 11 year old lab, chow mix. Shes the sweetest thing. We happened to be at the shelter when she came in at just 8 weeks old. Lucky for us! Chilo loves to snuggle, so she handles the soft toy product testing.
Cody "Coyote" is what they call a foster failure. We were fostering for a lab rescue and got him when he was 9. After 6 months of no one being interested in adopting a 9 year old lab, we kept him. He is 14 now and he is the happiest boy I know. I would say he supervises mostly, but he does like to see if he can haul the really big your around the house.
Sophie, our little girl, is the lateest edition to our family, She is a 5 year old terrier mix we rescued in 2008. She doesnt know she little. You should see her with the Saint Bernards. They all just love her. Sophie owns the little toy division. Her areas of focus are "How fast can she run with her toys" and "do they make good pillows"?
Over the years, I bet weve been through over 100 toys, Birthdays, Christmas, Easter, yes, were THOSE kind of dog owners. Weve seen whats the most durable, fun and safe for our precious family. We've also seen and tried a lot of other dog related products to help with things like allergies, hip problems, eating too fast, etc.
